Her debut
album - 'Now in a Minute' - was released in 1996 to universal acclaim. The first single - 'I Love You Always Forever'
- became an instant global phenomenon, climbing to the top of the charts in countries around the world. In the USA, it re-wrote
the record books at radio by exceeding 1 million 'spins' to claim its place in music industry history as the most-played
single ever, at that time.
Interview with
Jason Kemp
Jason Kemp is deceptively more than just a country music artist. And not just because he is
Australian. His music bears all of the hallmarks of classic Nashville production both in terms of arrangement and style but
this is no mere attempt at emulating a particular style of music. Very much in the same way that Janis Joplin sang the blues,
Jason Kemp is very reverent towards his country music influences without ever falling into the trap of becoming a tribute
to American country.
Kelly Sweet
Interview
The pleasure - the feeling of oneness - is so intense, you listen over and over. Such is the experience
of hearing 18-year-old singer Kely Sweet for the first time. The opening “oohs” of “We Are One,” the
title track from her debut album coming from Razor & Tie in March 2007, stop you dead in your tracks. Hushed and hymn-like,
Sweet's voice creates a lush world of beauty.

We Support
Carrie Prejean
Carrie Prejean a Miss USA contestant had
the courage to stand up to Perez Hilton’s question on gay marriage and an attempt to transform the pageant into his
own personal political agenda.
Prejean fielded a question during Sunday night's pageant from celebrity blogger Perez Hilton about
whether every state should legalize same-sex marriage. Prejean replied that she is opposed to gay marriage. Prejean stated,
"We live in a land where you can choose same-sex marriage or opposite marriage. And you know what, I think in my country,
in my family, I think that I believe that a marriage should be between a man and a woman. No offense to anybody out there,
but that's how I was raised."
After Carrie
was named first runner-up to Miss North Carolina Kristen Dalton, Hilton recorded a video diatribe in which he said Carrie
gave “The worst answer in pageant history," that "she lost because she's a dumb b****!" and that she
has "half a brain."
Miss Prejean
has a right to her opinion, that is the very foundation of this great country and Mr. Hilton should be willing to defend to
the death her right to say it. A free interchange of ideas is seen as an essential ingredient of democracy and resistance
to tyranny, and as an important agent of improvement.
"Those
who deny freedom to others, deserve it not for themselves; and, under a just God, can not long retain it." The Collected
Works of Abraham Lincoln edited by Roy P. Basler, Volume III, "Letter To Henry L. Pierce and Others" (April
6, 1859), p. 376.

Exquisite, powerful music Reviewer: T Hill This CD immediately became my favorite! Not only is the music incredibly powerful, but it is varied and interesting. I plan
to give more of these CD's as gifts. It is like listening to a combination of George Winston's piano and Andrew Lloyd
Webber's stirring compositions. Fantastic!
